INTERIOR  DESIGN 

The goal for this project was to redesign a Habitat for Humanity house for one of their families. The family had recently moved to Canada from the country Burundi, therefore the aim of this design was to create an interior that brings both the familiarity of the Burundi culture and Canadian culture. This house effortlessly combines both Canadian contexts and the feeling of home and tradition through the touches of the Burundi colours.This complementary colour scheme adds the perfect contrast to the house interior, while also combing both the past and the present cultures effortlessly within the home.
